Hickman photo exhibition is continuing at the Addie McFarland Center on Stone Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hickman was a Mineola native who went on to work as a photojournalist for several national publications. The exhibit continues through July 17 at the center. • Big plans are set for this weekend’s McFarland School Reunion that starts with registration and a trip to Sam’s Town Thursday. (See story for details.) • Friday and Saturday brings the 55th Annual Mineola Fire Department Rodeo. This Mineola tradition commences at 8 p.m. each night. Tickets are $1 cheaper if bought in advance and they’re at Mineola City Hall. • Plus there is always to do at the Mineola Memorial Library and Quitman Library, both of which host a full slate of activities during the summer.
