CenterPoint residential gas customers in Mineola can expect to see a 7% increase in their natural gas bills after a rate increase goes into effect in July. That means a residential customer who now pays $22.45 per month for gas will see the bill rise to $24.01.

Non-residential customers also will see higher gas charges. Small commercial and institutional customers should expect a 7% increase, and large volume users will see a 13% hike, according to information maintained by the city of Mineola. more
