20th Annual Taste of East Texas
The 20th Annual Taste of East Texas was served up Saturday night at the Mineola Civic Center. The event was put on by the Republican Women of Wood County. Attendees voted in the categories of best overall, best main dish, best dessert, best appetizer, best side dish and best decorations.
The following came out on top:
Hidden Lakes Hunting Lodge in Yantis (Best Overall)
Brisket Love Barbecue and Ice House in Lindale (Best Main Dish)
Sugarbakers in Mineola (Best Dessert)
Kitchen’s Hardware and Deli (Best Appetizer)
Seth’s Lake Fork Creek in Quitman (Best Side Dish)
Speakeasy Coffeehouse in Quitman (Best Decorations).
