The total includes 42 active cases, 29 patients recovered and five deaths.

76 total COVID-19 cases; 42 active in county
Wood County saw an increase of five cases of COVID-19 from Friday to Monday, according to the Northeast Texas Public Health District, bringing the total to 76.
They include 42 active cases, 29 patients recovered and five deaths. There have been no deaths reported since June 10.
According to the state, 823 persons in the county have been tested. More public testing is scheduled Wednesday in Mineola and Saturday in Quitman.
Winnsboro has had 36 cases, Mineola 13, Quitman 11, Alba seven, Hawkins and Yantis four each and one in the Wood County section of the Big Sandy ZIP code.
