Alba-Golden and Yantis earned titles at the second annual Alba-Golden Spring Tennis Tourney March 8.
Alba-Golden, Quitman and Yantis tennis players competed. According to Alba-Golden tennis coach Dana Wade, creative mixing of both skill level and school affiliation made for a great learning environment in the morning and excellent afternoon head-to-head competition.
The Yantis girls tandem of Ashten Burnett and Hope Dixon took the girls double title. Fellow Yantis schoolmates Maddie and Maggie Hooker earned second place.
The Alba-Golden boys double team of Byron Wade and Gabe Barnett earned the doubles title in round robin play. Jacob Harle and Nathan Kumm, also of Alba-Golden, finished second.
