Aaron Cedric Stanford, 1969-2020

Aaron Cedric Stanford, 51, of Mineola lived his life to the fullest until the very end. He passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 in Tyler. He was born in Mineola on Feb. 7, 1969 to the late Carl Bertran Stanford and Lear LaVerne Stanford. He was preceded in death by his brother, Troy Dean Reeves. Aaron was a lifelong resident of Mineola. He graduated from Mineola High School in 1988 and worked for FedEx for 29 years.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Stanford; four daughters, Amber Cook, Linsey Bointy, Megan Stanford, and Taylor and her husband Gerardo Reyes; two sons, Aaron (Bubba) Stanford and Tyler Stanford all of Mineola; two sisters, Linda West of Zavala and Elaine Seward of Quitman; his brother, Carl B. and his wife Debbie Stanford of Grand Saline; nine grandchildren, Madison, Makinzie, Brayley, Kaylee, Shawn, Miya, Abigail, Mila and Natalia; his father and mother-in-law, Larry and Jean Herrington, all of Mineola; and several nieces and nephews.

Aaron Stanford loved so many and was loved by so many, especially his wife and children. He lived a wonderful life and was an amazing man and husband, father and Pop Pop. He never met a stranger. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date due to the circumstances at this current time. Everyone will be updated. Prayers for the family are still greatly appreciated in this difficult time.
