Addie Carroll Provow

MINEOLA -Funeral services for Addie Provow, 92, are scheduled for Saturday July 30, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Neeley officiating.

Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens near Mineola.

Mrs. Provow was born Aug, 11, 1923 and she died July 26, 2016. She was born in Quitman to Ernest and Fatha Carroll and grew up in Quitman, graduating from high school there. She met her husband at the USO in Shreveport, Louisiana and they later were married at Barksdale Air Force Base.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ernie Provow, her parents and a brother, Ernest Paul Carroll.

She is survived by adopted daughters, Peggy Futch and Linda Maguire.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
