N.E. Texas Cattleman’s Conference set for Jan. 25
The N.E. Texas Cattleman’s Conference will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the Carroll Green Civic Center in Quitman. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. with the educational program starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 3:15 p.m. There is a $20 cost for the conference with a catered lunch provided. Topics for the program include:
• Winter Feeding Strategies and Supplementation Basics for Cow-Calf Operations
• Mineral Supplementation: What’s Right for My Operation
• Anaplasmosis and Ticks
• Proper Vaccination Scheduling
• Hornfly Control
Three continuing educational units will be given for the program. One hour in the general category and two hours in Integrated Pest Management.
