Angelica Brooke Blalock 1998-2020

The family of Angelica Brooke Blalock, 21, of Quitman, will receive friends at the Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at 2 p.m. in the Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Springs cemetery.

Brooke was born on July 20, 1998 in Sulphur Springs to Richard “Andy” Blalock and Stephanie Ann Cockerham. Brooke graduated from Quitman High School and completed North East Texas Community College's Cosmetology Program. Her current employment was as district clerk deputy for Wood County.

Brooke is survived by her parents, Richard “Andy” Blalock and Stephanie Ann Cockerham; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Jackie Blalock; maternal grandparents, Patricia McCoy and Billy Cockerham; great-grandmother ,Regina Gilbreath and her husband Harold Elliott; partner, William Surratt; sisters, Makayla Cockerham and Audri Griffin; uncles, Chris Blalock, Mike and his wife Carli Blalock, and Billy Cockerham, Jr.; aunt, Katrinia Johnson, as well as her many cousins and work family in the Wood County courthouse. 

Serving as pallbearers for Brooke will be Mike Blalock, Chris Blalock, Billy Cockerham, Aston Chance, Don King, and Jeff Fletcher. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be directed to Hawkins Pet & Exotic Animal Clinic.
