The Quitman Pilot Club’s Chili Cook-Off will be Friday, Jan. 31 from 6 -8 p.m. at the Carroll Green Civic Center in Quitman.

Entry fee for cooks is $25, along with a $25 gift card, or $50 without a gift card. The gift cards will be used to build high-dollar raffle buckets that will be raffled the night of the event.

For the entry and sponsorship forms, visit the Quitman Pilot Club Facebook page to download or email  Fonda827@gmail.com to request the forms.

Dale “The C” Cummings will keep the crowd entertained and energized.  There will be a lively dessert auction and awards for best chili, best booth, people’s choice and others.

Tickets are $10 each for those 13 and older and $5 for  12 and under. They will be available from any Quitman Pilot, the night of the event at the door or email Chairwoman Fonda McBride.

All funds raised will support the non-profit, all-volunteer Pilot Club and the stated mission of providing education for the prevention of traumatic brain injury; and offering services to those suffering from brain-related disorders such as Alzheimer’s, stroke and autism. Bicycle Safety, Project LifeSaver and Special Olympics are some of those efforts important to health, safety and quality of life.
