The Quitman-Lake Fork Kiwanis Club will hold its Third Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 6, at The Links at Land’s End on Lake Fork. The tournament format will be a four-person team scramble with a 2 p.m. start.

The $300 per team entry fee covers golf, cart, and meal at the conclusion of the 18-hole round. Teams may purchase mulligans, hand grenades, and 2-putt advantages during tournament check-in that begins at 1 p.m.

“The club is very thankful that East Texas Medical Center-Quitman and Peoples Telephone are teaming up with us as major sponsors,” said Kiwanian and tournament chairman Brad Floyd. “There are also sponsor opportunities for individuals or businesses who like to sponsor an individual tee box for $250 or a hole sponsor for $150.”

Sponsors names will be displayed on the course as well in a follow-up thank you ad in local newspapers.

Golfers will be given gift bags as well as compete for prizes as they play the course. To register a team or become a sponsor, contact Brad Floyd at 903-530-6413 or pick up a registration packet at Dairy Queen in Quitman.
