Audiene W. Smith, 1958-2020

Audiene W. Smith, 61, of Yantis passed away on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020 at her home in Yantis. She was born on Feb. 12, 1958 in Niskayuna, N.Y. to Alfred Brown and Barbara Yattaw Brown. 

Audiene was a retired machine operator and proud grandmother. She loved horses, trail rides and NASCAR. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Keller Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Elbert Kennemer; son, Kyle Smith and wife Crystal of Dike; daughter, Jennifer Sheffield and husband Jeff of Quitman; brothers, Robert C. Brown and wife Sherry of Scotia, N.Y. and William K. Brown (late wife Carrol) of Middlegrove, N.Y.; sister, Alicia J. Dimmick and husband Wes of Scotia, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 from 10-11 a.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola. Funeral service followed at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Robert C. Brown conducting. Interment was at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola.
