Automobile break-ins reported at Nature Preserve
Two automobile break-ins reportedly occurred at the Mineola Nature Preserve on May 5, according to Mineola police.
At 7:25 p.m., a woman reported her windows were broken out of her vehicle while she was at the Nature Preserve. Nothing was reportedly taken from the vehicle.
At 8:34 p.m., a burglary of a vehicle was reported at the Nature Preserve by another woman. A purse was stolen from the vehicle. No forced entry was noted on the vehicle.
Anyone with any information on these criminal acts is asked to notify the Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
