Virginia Reid-Yost is holding auditions for this year’s Christmas production at the Talent Box, a non-profit community theater, in Wills Point, Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday at 7 p.m.

In the hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful children in history. There is mayhem – and fun – when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story. The comedy is adapted from the best-selling young adult book and has become a holiday staple.
