GOP Party plans Lincoln Day Dinner
The Republican Party of Wood County will host its annual Lincoln Day Dinner on March 18 at 6 p.m. at the Land’s End Pavilion. This year’s theme is “Celebrating America’s Greatness.”
The dinner will be catered by Land’s End, which was awarded Best Entrée at the Taste of East Texas. In addition there will be a cash bar. Entertainment will be provided by guitarist Michael Booth.
The featured speaker is 8th Judicial District Attorney Will Ramsay. There will be additional commentary from 5th District Texas State Representative Cole Hefner, District 1 State Senator Bryan Hughes and various elected officials holding local and higher offices.
Sponsors for the event include The Copper Leaf Spa in Winnsboro which has offered a Spa Package, Texas Ranch Outfitters in Yantis which has donated a gift certificate, and the Links at Land’s End which has given a four-person golfing package including golf cart. All will be auctioned at this event.
