St. Peter’s Fall Festival is Sunday
Fall is here and St. Peter’s Catholic Church’s Fall Festival is just around the corner on Sunday. A wide variety of events will be offered for children and adults.
Food vendors will have the usual popcorn and snow cones, plus an assortment of food from the United States, Mexico and the Philippines. Delicious desserts made by the Ladies Guild will also be available.
Children will enjoy a ride on the “Choo choo” and the bounce house. There will also be a duck race and cake walk as well as many other games. For adults, there will be a silent auction featuring items donated by merchants around the area and parishioners. One lucky person will win $500 in a drawing.
St. Peter’s is located at 203 Meadowbrook Drive in Mineola. Festival activities will start at 11 on Sunday. No admission fee will be charged, but tickets will be available for the food, games and other events. For more information, call 903-967-7290 or 903-714-9937.
