Charles Betts

MINEOLA-Funeral services for Charles Betts, 77, of Mineola were held September 17 at Beaty Funeral Home with LaDarius Carter officiating.

Burial followed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.

Mr. Betts died September 13, 2018, in Mineola. He was born January 14, 1941, in Cumby, Texas to the late Clarence and Inias Betts.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Loretta Kirkland.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Betts of Mineola; sons, Allen and Keith Betts, both of Mineola; daughter, Karen Betts, Mineola; sister, Laverne Porter of Mineola; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
