Charles Mallicote
1934-2018
MINEOLA-Charles (Max) Mallicote, 84 of Mineola died on August 17, 2018. He was born to Ora and Everett Mallicote on January 8 1934 in Gainesville, Texas.
Max served in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard in Texas and served the City of University Park Police Department from November 1957 until retiring in 1989 as a Lieutenant. While serving in the UPPD he was honored to attend the 91st session of the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Brown Mallicote; parents; brother, Kenneth Mallicote and two sisters, Ann Hutchison and Carolyn Sue Mallicote.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Mallicote; sister, Jane Alexander; daughter Melody Lundquist; son, John Mallicote; stepdaughter, Rebecca Decker; stepson Michael Loftin; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and extended family.
He was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ in Mineola.
