Christmas Around the World

Broad Street Corral at 121 W. Broad St. won the category of Best Depiction of this year’s Mineola Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade theme, which was Christmas Around the World.

Between Friends won the award for Best Spirit of Christmas.

The Broad Street Mall distinguished itself as Most Festive. Mineola’s downtown storefront windows are decked out for the holidays, and the Main Street program recognized three as part of its store window contest. Judges viewed all windows downtown and considered about 15 of them for the contest. They said it was a shame they couldn’t all win. The judges were representatives from the Grand Saline Main Street program and the Grand Saline Chamber of Commerce.
