Civic center improvements
Hochheim Prairie Insurance Branch 53 recently made a donation to the Mineola Civic Center for tennis court improvements. The new backboard was ordered in April but delayed by issues with raw materials. Pictured are, from left, Lisa Bright, MCC assistant manager; Nancy Murphy, MCC manager; David Collett, MCC president-elect; Kevin White, MCC treasurer; Jeanette Castleberry, Hochheim Branch 53 president; Donna Hooks, Hochheim Branch 53 director; and Rhonda Lambeth, Hochheim Branch 53 director. MCC also recently striped four courts for pickle ball, though they can still be used for tennis.
