Luke Parrish owner of Claw Daddy’s restaurant is preparing to serve another free Thanksgiving dinner.
Parrish is also encouraging everyone to come out to the restaurant’s Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration that will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until the restaurant runs out of food.
“Last year we had an awesome experience as we fed 215 people and we truly felt like a big family. I expect to feed 500 (people) this year and in order to handle a meal that large the city of Mineola has allowed us to close Johnson Street (for additional space and seating),” Parrish said on Facebook last month.
The meal is being funded by proceeds made from the restaurant’s $50 fried turkeys that are being sold. If you would like to purchase a fried turkey contact Parrish on his Facebook page.
