Clinton Erickson, 1951-2019
Clinton “Mr. Clint” Erickson, 67 of Mineola, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 in Tyler. He was born on Oct. 14, 1951 in Park Rapids, Minn. to the late Walfred Erickson, Sr. and Zada Booth Erickson.
He retired from Mineola ISD after serving 25 years as a bus mechanic and driver. He loved building and working on engines.
Mr. Clint was preceded in death by his parents and by four brothers, Jeffery, Rodney, Marshall and Leo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jannie Blackwell of Mineola; daughter, Kristy Erickson McGee of Mesa, Ariz.; brother, Wally Erickson of Grand Saline; five sisters, Gwen, Marilyn, Wilma, Katheryn and Stella; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A remembrance service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at Beaty Funeral Home, 5320 S. State Hwy. 37, Mineola at 3 p.m.
