Corrior and Bautista named Quitman Rotary Club Students of the Month
Seniors Allyson Corrior and Langdon Bautista were named Quitman Rotary’s Students of the Month for March
Corrior is a basketball and track manager, color guard captain and a member of the Quitman Proud Blue Band. She has qualified for State twice at the Texas Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Cupcake Battle competition.
She will attend the University of Texas at Arlington in the fall, majoring in nursing. Her career plan is to have her first job be close to family to help them when needed. She is the daughter of Heather Pochurek and Erin Corrior and the granddaughter of Janet and David Corrior.
Bautista has been an area and regional qualifier for pole vaulting and a Regional and State qualifier for power lifting. He is a three time state qualifier with the fishing team and has won two scholarships. He is the son of April Bautista.
