County reaches 25 COVID-19 cases, 257 tested
After the long holiday weekend, the Northeast Texas Public Health District posted its latest dashboard of COVID-19 statistics late yesterday.
It shows two new cases in Wood County, both from Winnsboro, bringing the county total to 25, of which 15 have recovered and one died, leaving nine active cases.
The state reported the county test numbers have risen to 257.
