Dachiel Ann Turner, 1966-2021

Posted

Dachiel Ann Turner, 54, of Mineola melted into her mother’s arms, as she slipped into her Lord and Savior’s arms and heaven, on Sunday evening, Feb. 7, 2021. Dachiel was born July 14, 1966 in Dallas to the parentage of James Calvin and Phyllis Ann (Allen) Turner. She married Todd Michael Turner in Como in 1990, and that marriage would have celebrated 31 years in July. She was raised from the age of five years on her parent’s dairy farm in Pickton. Her educational years were spent in the Como-Pickton ISD system, graduating Class of 1984. Dachiel’s interests were numerous and vast from twirling lessons with competition during elementary school, to 4-H Club during junior high school, to showing quarter horses at halter in AQHA shows during high school, to helping and learning how to raise calves and milk cows. She also worked at several banks in the Sulphur Springs and Emory area. However, she considered her greatest accomplishment was giving birth to two precious little boys, as well as becoming Mommy to Todd’s little daughter. As the years have flown by, she has watched as both her sons have married and given her grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren with the love of a true grandmother. Dachiel was saved at a New Year’s Eve watch service, in Golden, British Columbia, Canada. She “knew” the Lord as He knew her from before “she was formed in the darkness of her Mother’s womb.” He has watched her grow in His word and in her actions. Though Dachiel Ann Turner will be missed so terribly by her family and friends, she will be “Dancing in the Sky” with her little sister, Donna, and all the other members of her family as well as many of her friends.
