Dauphin Lawrence Parrish, 1957-2020
Private graveside service for Dauphin Lawrence Parrish, 62, of Point were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Salem Cemetery, Alba, with Bro. Robert Burns officiating under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Parrish passed away April 11, 2020 in Tyler. He was born Sept. 12, 1957 in Dallas to L.E. and Joyce Thorn Parrish. He lived in Wood and Rains County most of his life, where he was a member of Emory Baptist Church. He was a minister of the gospel with Sink or Swim and Residents Encounter Christ Prison Ministries. He also worked as a welder. Dauphin was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Aline Parrish April 12, 2009.
Survivors include his son, Tyler Parrish of Michigan; nephew, Dustin Briggs and wife Nancy of Point; one granddaughter; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
