Delia Diaz Garza 1940-2020

Delia Diaz Garza, 79, passed away at home with her family by her side on Feb. 4, 2020 in Winnsboro. Delia was born to Otto L. Diaz and Conception Sanchez Diaz on Feb. 5, 1940 in Winters. She worked for many years at the state hospital as a CNA and was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Montoya and Diana Lopez; a sister, Emma Castro of Comfort; four grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

The family received friends at the Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
