MINEOLA-Funeral services for Delphia Jean Shubert, 66 of Mineola were held October 21 with Grady Dollar and Ronny Polley officiating.

Burial followed at Cedar Memorial Gardens in Mineola.

Mrs. Shubert died October 12, 2018, in Mineola. She was born June 12, 1952 in Mineola to the late J.H. Burge and a daughter, Melissa Ramsey.

Survivors include her sons, Tim Pugh, Mineola, Wayne Williford, Tyler, Terry Pugh, Sr., Mineola, Thomas Pugh, Mineola and William Pugh of Tennessee Colony; brothers, James Burge, Mineola, Robert Burge of Alba and Charles Burge of Carlsbad, NM; sisters, Wanda of Fort Worth, Elsie Shubert, Mineola and Shirley Ballow of Mineola, 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
