The Mineola All School Reunion is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, during Mineola’s Homecoming weekend.

The Mineola Civic Center is hosting three events for the reunion which requires the purchase of a $50 wristband.

The festivities begin Friday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 p.m. with pregame tailgating at Meredith Memorial Stadium before the Yellowjackets take on the Quitman Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the game must be purchased separately.

The civic center will host two events Saturday, Oct. 1, beginning with a morning brunch from 9 to 10 a.m. in Meredith Hall.

A reunion dinner and dance will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. at the same location as the brunch. The dinner and dance will include a program honoring the 1966 football team along with 1970s alumnus Bobby Tucker and 1980s alumnus State Senator Bryan Hughes. Wayne Collins and Charm Norris, 1941 alumni, will be honored as reunion king and queen. Disc Jockey Kenny Smith will provide entertainment for the evening.

Approximately 150 people have registered for the event and registration has been extended to Monday. Alumni and non-alumni are all welcome to register for a wristband to the events.

Lodging in Mineola is filling up but there will be room for RVs at the civic center with a reservation.

For more information about the Mineola All School Reunion or to register for a wristband, visit the All School Reunion Facebook page or contact the civic center at 903-569-6115.
