The following guilty pleas were heard in 402nd District Court on Thursday, Feb. 23:

Neal Curtis Brown, Henderson, possession of a controlled substance penalty group one (PG1) less than one gram, state jail felony, six years in state prison with 186 days credit for time served, $3,000 fine and $290 court costs.

Jason Lamar Boles, Fruitvale, possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than one gram, state jail felony, deferred adjudication, five years community supervision with 120 hours community service, $2,500 fine and $290 court costs.

Sarah Nicole David, Lindale, possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than one gram, state jail felony (punished as Class A misdemeanor), 139 days in county jail with 139 days credit for time served.

Nelson Douglass Driver, Yantis, failure to comply with sex offender registration, state jail felony, deferred adjudication, five years community supervision with 120 hours community service and $290 court costs.

Donald James Farris, Quitman, aggravated assault against a public servant (two counts), first degree felony, six years in state prison with 326 days credit for time served.

Ethan Ralph, Alba, assault causes bodily injury of family/household member with previous conviction, third degree felony, five years in state prison suspended for five years community supervision with 160 hours community service, $500 fine and $290 court costs.

Jeri Janine Hess, Holiday, Fla., aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, second degree felony, deferred adjudication, five years community supervision with 240 hours community service and $500 fine.

Michael Ladell Martin, Tyler, possession of a controlled substance PG1 one gram or more but less than four, third degree felony, deferred adjudication, three years community supervision with 160 hours community service, $3,000 fine and $290 court costs.

Jordan Demarcus McGowen, Hawkins, theft of a firearm, state jail felony, deferred adjudication, two years community supervision with 120 hours community service and $290 court costs.

Shannon Elizabeth Maynard, Mt. Vernon, possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than one gram, state jail felony, six years in state prison with 80 days credit for time served, $2,000 fine and $290 court costs; case dismissed for possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than one gram in drug free zone, third degree felony.

Fabian Silverio Suarez, Longview, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, third degree felony, 10 years in state prison with 397 days credit for time served, $1,000 fine and $290 court costs; case dismissed for aggravated robbery, first degree felony.
