Dobbs and Danner earn top spots for Quitman Class of 2019
Quitman High School’s 2019 valedictorian is Abby Dobbs.
Dobbs has played on the volleyball, basketball, golf and cheer teams. She’s involved in Student Council, Interact Club, and National Honor Society (NHS).
She will attend Texas A&M University in the fall to major in animal science. She plans to become a veterinarian. She is the daughter of David and Michelle Dobbs.

Lillie Danner is this year’s salutatorian.
Danner has been involved in Quitman Proud Blue Band, Student Council, Interact Club, NHS, golf and pharmacy class.
She will attend Stephen F. Austin State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She also plans to get a pharmacy technician certification and work in a pharmacy while attending college.
She is the daughter of Clint and Jenny Howle.
Quitman High School graduation is set for Friday, May 31 at 8 p.m. at Bud Moody Stadium.
