Donnie Lynn Riddle, 1958-2020

Services for Donnie Lynn Riddle, 62, of Alba were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba with Pastor Ben Steen officiating.

Mr. Riddle passed away July 24, 2020, in Tyler. He was born Jan. 27, 1958 in Greenville to O.D. and Marjorie Marie Nutt Riddle. Donnie spent most of his life in Wood County. On Feb. 14, 2015 he married Anna Patterson at the Alba Community Center. He was raised a Christian and loved to fish. He mastered the art of working with stainless steel. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Maisyn Elizabeth Davis; brother, Phillip Riddle; and his wife, LaWanda McQueen Riddle.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Riddle of Alba; two sons, Coy Sewell of Quitman and Cody Riddle of Mineola; step-son, Lance Yager and wife Mindy of Waco; daughter, Leeann Willingham and husband Josh of Tyler; step-daughter, Katrina Yager Davis and husband Josh of Mineola; two brothers, his twin, Lonnie Riddle and wife Janet of Decatur and Michel Low and wife Danita of Lone Oak; three sisters, Wilma Graham and Dewey Colson of Yantis, Paula Lindsey of Alba, and Belinda Webb of Dallas; 12 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
