Ennis “Kenneth” Sandifer, 1933-2020

Ennis “Kenneth” Sandifer passed away on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020 in Tyler. He was born on Friday, Nov. 24, 1933 in Wood County to the late Carl and Jessie Irene Sandifer. He was retired after 40 years of service with Trane A/C Manufacturing. Kenneth had served several years in the Army National Guard. He was a faithful member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and served as a deacon and in many other areas of the church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Elaine Caffey Sandifer; one son, Larry Sandifer; two brothers, Leverett J. Sandifer and Lavon R. Sandifer; and one sister, Amy Imogene Robertson. Kenneth is survived by one son, Jeffrey Sandifer and wife Vicki of Mineola; one daughter, Terri Dievendorf and husband Eric of Mineola; one brother, Carroll Wayne Sandifer; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services were Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola. Visitation was at Beaty Funeral Home Aug. 4, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. Bro. Bobby Tucker and Rev. Jeff Thompson are officiating the service.
