City and school filing underway this week
Filing for city council and school board elections gets underway Wednesday, Jan. 19 and goes until Feb. 18.
The May 7 election will include the following positions.
School board terms are for three years and city councils for two.
Contact the respective city halls and school administration offices for filing information.
Mineola ISD – three places
City of Mineola – three places
Ward One, Ward Two and Ward Three
Alba-Golden ISD – two places
City of Alba – three places
Quitman ISD – two places
City of Quitman – three places
Yantis ISD – two places
City of Yantis – three places
