Fireworks show fundraiser kicks off for Mineola event
It’s time once again to raise funds for the July 4 fireworks production in Mineola.
The annual Fourth of July fireworks show costs $4,000 to produce, and donations are being sought.

Donations should be sent to the Fireworks Fund at the City of Mineola, PO Box 179, Mineola TX 75773.
The schedule of events at the Mineola Civic Center that day includes the Splash Park open all day; pavilion concessions with hot dogs, snow cones, drinks and snacks through the evening with restrooms open; a flag retirement ceremony by the Boy Scouts at 7 p.m.; Lake Country Symphonic Band with patriotic music at 8 p.m.; and the fireworks at 9 p.m.
