Funeral services for Jo Ann Bean, 75, Quitman, were held September 9, 2013 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola with Rev. Doryel Pixley and Rev. Don Honeycutt officiating.

Burial was held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.

Mrs. Bean passed away September 3, 2013 in Tyler.

She was born December, 9, 1937 to Russell and Dorothy Dixon.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Edward Bean.

Survivors include sons, Steve Bean, Mark Bean, Wayne Bean and Doug Bean all of Quitman, daughter, Cheryl Bean Zenns of Quitman, brothers, Ray Coddington of Bennettsville, SC, Jerry Calvert of Pooler, GA, Bill Calvert of Pooler, GA, and Tim Calvert of PA; sisters, Elaine Twigg of Lancaster, CA, Lois McGann Bowling of Green, MD, and Debbie Logsdon of Hagerstown, MD; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
