Forever Young Activity Center will host its Home for the Holidays Annual Tour of Homes this Sunday, Dec. 9.

The tour runs from 1 to 4 p.m. and features Quitman homes and country store vendors. Tickets cost $12 and can be purchased at the center on Wednesday and Friday prior to the event from any FYAC associate or at the country store on Dec. 9.

The four featured homes are the Tanner Home (204 Paul Street), the Spiers Home (210 Paul Street), the Turner Home (278 CR 3200 or Earlene Drive) and the Dopson House (1960 East Highway 154).

Arnie and Jana Spiers’ home has a winter wonderland theme featuring vintage Christmas ornaments as you travel down gingerbread and peppermint lanes. There will be more surprises as you walk through their doors.

Robin and John Tanner’s home includes creative, out-of-this-world decorations and these unique designs can’t be found in a store.

Deborah Dopson’s home brings together of a combination of country charm and comfy living as well as a bohemian theme and eclectic décor.

Rhonda and Scott Turner’s home has traditional reds along with farmhouse buffalo plaid décor in the main living areas. Heirlooms, such as iron pots with nature elements of pinecones and cedar, are also a part of the home. Their bedrooms are decorated in a snowmen, gold and glitter, romantic countryside theme. The Christmas tree features homemade ornaments from their children.

Each home will have visible signs to find the location. This year, houses are all within five miles of each other and two are within walking distance.

FYAC will have the country store and bake sale from noon to 5 p.m.

Vendors offer hand-made arts and crafts, jewelry, wood worker, handmade sewing items, Christmas gifts and home-cooked holiday specialties. FYAC associates will make the desserts. Door prize drawing for various prizes is set for 5 p.m. Those participating in the drawing do not have to be present to win.
