Grand jury indicts former Mineola ISD staff member Karch

A former Mineola school staffer was among people on whom indictments were returned by the Wood County Grand Jury Wednesday.

Todd Karch was indicted for online solicitation of a minor. The Mineola school’s former director of transportation, technology and at one time an elementary teacher, Karch turned himself in in December on the charge. The warrant was obtained by the Mineola Police Department.

The department stated an investigation was begun in November after they received a report from MISD Superintendent Kim Tunnell. As a result, probable cause was discovered for the charge and a warrant was issued.
