Gregory Lee Gargus, 1949-2020

Gregory Lee Gargus, 70, of Tyler went home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 8, 2020. He was in the United States Army where he served in the military police, and as a patrol dog handler. He was born in Tyler on Sept. 17, 1949 where he grew up and later took a job at Tyler Pipe. He worked there for 30 years. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Earl and Peggy Gargus. 

Left to cherish his precious memory are his wife, Brenda Gargus; son, Eric Gargus of Quitman; daughters, Melinda (Mindi) Sessions (A.G III) of Quitman and Tanya Gargus of Tyler; and his grandchildren, Andrew Scott Wilson, Brayden Thomas Sessions, Branden Alexander Sessions, Sierra Defur and Lillian Gargus.

Visitation for Mr. Gargus will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. and services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel at 6 p.m.

Military honors will follow at Lowe Funeral Home.
