The following pleas and sentences were heard in 402nd District Court Thursday, March 24.

Scott Andrew Stalsberg, Alba, theft of property $30,000 or more but less than $150,000, eight years in state prison suspended for four years of community supervision and 160 hours of community service.

Kara Louise Weathers, Odessa, possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group (PG) One less than one gram, two years in state jail suspended for five years community supervision and 120 hours community service.

Lonnie Van Drury, Alba, sentenced to 65 years in state prison with credit for 430 days, plus a $10,000 fine for failure to comply with sex offender registration. A jury found him guilty.

Austin Paul Moore, Tyler, possession of a controlled substance PG One less than one gram, deferred adjudication, four years community supervision and 120 hours community service.

James Preston Forte, Quitman, possession of a controlled substance PG One less than one gram, deferred adjudication, four years community supervision and 120 hours community service.

Larry Dean Stuckey, Hawkins, possession of a controlled substance PG One less than one gram, three years in state prison with 159 days credit for time served, concurrent with prior sentence.

Raul Rene Vera-Gonzalez, Mineola,  possession of a controlled substance PG One less than one gram, deferred adjudication, two years community supervision and 180 hours community service; driving while intoxicated, 180 days in county jail suspended for one year community supervision with 24 hours community service.

Dillon Raymond McGuire, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, three years in state prison with 272 days credit for time served, concurrent with prior sentence.
