Hawkins ISD to host Meet the Teacher Night
The Hawkins School District will welcome students back to school Monday, Aug. 22, for the annual Meet the Teacher night. The elementary school will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the middle school and high school beginning at 6 p.m.
Parents and students will get their first glimpse of the new school year as they meet their teachers, visit their classrooms and follow their schedules. Hot dogs will be served in the cafeteria prior to the start of the Meet the Hawks Pep Rally.
Area businesses are invited to introduce themselves to families as well. The businesses will need to set up a table for the period between classroom visits and the start of the pep rally in the cafeteria and foyer area.
Businesses are advised to contact Debi Crawford or Tracy Thomas at 903-769-2181 to secure a table for the event.
