“Sew Fun” sewing class set for Feb. 9
The Wood County Texas Extension Education Association Club is offering a “Sew Fun” sewing class for adult beginners. The class begins Thursday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at the County Extension Office in Quitman. The class will make two beginner projects, a pillowcase and a kitchen bag holder. There is a $5 registration fee for the class.
If you have a certain fabric that you would like to use, you will need to bring 1 1/2 yards of that fabric. If not, kits that include the fabric will be provided. Also, if you do not have a portable sewing machine to bring, there will be machines available to use for the class.
