Annual craft sale

Crafts and art by local artists and craftsmen will be featured on Oct. 19 at the annual craft sale at Holly Brook Baptist Church, Hawkins. Booth rentals benefit youth ministries at Holly Brook. 

Fall Festival

Community children are invited to Holly Brook Baptist Church Oct. 31 for the 14th annual Fall Festival. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. in the Family Life Center and close at 8 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a can of food to benefit Hawkins Helping Hands. 

Fall Festival will feature games and candy prizes donated by Holly Brook Baptist members. 

Cookies are also needed for the “cookie walk.” Cookies should be taken to the Family Life Center kitchen by 10 a.m. on Oct. 31.

The festival is offered as a safe, Christian alternative to Halloween “trick or treat.” All children from the area are welcome. 

Breakfast Speaker

Men at Holly Brook Baptist Church, Hawkins, will meet for breakfast and hear a speaker on Oct. 20.

Dr. James McAndrew, urologist, will speak on men’s health issues and answer questions. The meeting in the Family Life Center begins at 8 a.m.
