Funeral services for Edith Verdell Gammons, 87 of Wylie, formerly of Hainesville are scheduled for 1:30 P.M. Thursday April 23, 2015 at Hainesville Baptist Church with Brother Terry Davis offi ciating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Hainesville Baptist Church, 3368 FM 49 Mineola, TX.

Mrs. Gammons passed away April 18, 2015 in Wylie, TX.

She was born September 28, 1927 in Paducah, TX to Herman and Maude Lee Cundiff Barnett. Survivors include sons Billy Gammons of Murphy and Larry Gammons of Sachse; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
