MINEOLA-A celebration of life for Ina Mai Brown, 96 of Mineola was held Tuesday, August 14 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola.  Mrs. Brown died August 9, 2018. She was born June 19, 1922, in Lawrence County, Tennessee to Rosa and Earl Glass.

She grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee; worked as a chemist during World War II and the local soda fountain; owned and operated an egg ranch, along with her husband, Clarence Brown Sr.; also worked in the original Walmart in Mineola.   She was a Baptist and leader of G.M.A.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Buster Glass and parents.

She is survived by her son, Clarence Brown, Jr; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
