James Adair, 1946-2019
A memorial service for James Adair, 72, of Mineola was Thursday, May 16 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Mineola with Father Lawrence Love officiating.
Mr. Adair died Saturday, May 11, 2019, in Quitman.
He was born Aug. 9, 1946, in Marietta to the late George and Virginia Adair.
James served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as an engineer tech and as a surveyor. He was also member of Saint Peters Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Adair of Mineola; sons, James Luke Yi Adair of Lubbock, George James Cortes Adair of Mineola and Carl Emanuel Cortes Adair of Mineola; daughters, Virginia Young Cha Adair of Lubbock, Elsie Catherine Cortes Adair of Mineola, Carie Louise Cortes Adair of Mineola and Mary Helen Cortes Adair of Mineola; sister, Ginger Lou Fulton of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
