Jerry Allen Wilson 1950-2019

A memorial service will be held for Jerry Wilson at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 at Smith Chapel UMC in Mineola with Pastor Jim Pickens officiating.

Jerry Allen Wilson was born Dec. 9, 1950 in Gladewater. He had been a resident of Mineola all of his life and worked as a welder.

Mr. Wilson passed away at age 68 on Sept. 5, 2019.

Survivors include his three children, Bubba and Suzy Wilson, Summer and Monte Coleman, and Winter Kopilak, of Mineola; sister, Darlene Haggerton; brothers, Densal Wilson and George Wilson; and grandchildren, Remington, Spring, Beau, Leland, and Kenneth.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
