Jessie Mable Clanton

TYLER-A graveside service for Jessie Mable Clanton, 87 of Tyler was held Saturday, August 25 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Preston Burton officiating.

Mrs. Clanton died August 23, 2018 in Tyler. She was born October 5, 1930 in Mills, New Mexico to the late Landon and Neoma Copelin.

She lived 25 years in Anchorage, Alaska and was retired in 2003 as a secretary for Habitat for Humanity.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doyle Clanton, Sr; son, Doyle Truman Clanton, Jr.; daughter, Susie Anne Clanton; brothers, Roy Copelin and Robert Copelin.

Survivors include her brother, Wayne Copelin of Sunray, Texas and grandson, Brandon Clanton of Tyler.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
