Jo Ann Hughes, 67, of Golden died October 31, 2018, in Tyler. She was born July 13, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to Joseph and Lorena Mae Nahrstedt.
She was retired from Union Pacific Railroad.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorna Mae Nahrstedt
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Billy Lee Hughes of Golden; her father, Joseph Nahrstedt of Pennsylvania; stepdaughter, Jennifer Wigington, Mineola; stepson, Ernest Hughes of Lindale; two brothers , Bill Nahrstedt of Arnold, Missouri, Steve Nahrstedt of High Ridge, Missouri; four sisters, Peggy Weidman of Steelville, Missouri, Chrissy Sheppard of House Springs, Missouri, Jackie Brown of Cuba, Missouri, Kathy Weidman, Lebanon, Missouri; three step-grandchildren and extended family.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
