MINEOLA-Graveside services for Joe Hal Sharber, 82, Mineola, were held February 1 at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, Mesquite, with Chaplain David Hicks officiating.

Burial was in Sunset Gardens, Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite.

Mr. Sharber died January 29, 2017. He was born October 17, 1934 in Sulphur Springs to Susan and Hal Sharber. He served in the Army and Air Force National Guard receiving an honorable discharge in 1961. He was an honorary lifetime member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Kelly Jo Sharber and Teri Lyn Fincher; two brothers, Billy Neal and Gene Paul Sharber and a sister, Melba Sue Stewart.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Frances Bellew; three sisters, Yera Wooten, Watauga, Linda Neal, Sulphur Springs and June Brumley, Pickton; two brothers, Charles Sharber, Sulphur Springs and Harold Sharber of England; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
